Long bio
Ashley K. Stoyanov Ojeda is a first-generation Latina author, essayist, speaker and business consultant whose work centers entrepreneurship, leadership, identity and sustainable growth. She is the author of Jefa in Training, the first Spanglish business book for Latinas, endorsed by Eva Longoria, and co-author of The Book of Awesome Latinas with Mirtle Peña-Calderón. The third edition of Jefa in Training comes out in September 2027.
With more than a decade of experience across music, tech, nonprofit, media and creative work, Ashley has spent her career building rooms for people who were told there wasn't one for them: WomxnCrush Music, a community of more than 10,000 women songwriters; the Jefa in Training Circle for Latina entrepreneurs; and trainings for employee networks at Google, PepsiCo, adidas and Qualtrics. Through The Reframe, she is a strategist and thought partner to leaders, organizations and brands.
She writes Holding Multitudes, personal essays on motherhood, identity and reinvention, and The Reframe on Substack, and teaches From Changemaker to Author at Literary Arts in Portland. Her work has been featured in The Cut, Business Insider, Inc., Nasdaq, People en Español, Telemundo, KING 5 and Hispanic Executive, which named her a Latinx to Watch. Originally from Queens, she lives in the Portland area with her family.
