Unstoppable Latina

Leadership coach Paulette Piñero came to me during a time of pivot in her business. She had already seen success in her coaching and consulting business but felt that she wasn’t able to create the impact she wanted with her current business model. She knew the problem she wanted to solve, but had many questions and hesitations on the best way to go about solving it. Within just two months of working together, we had put together a plan to launch the beta version of her newest initiative in which she could still work with corporate companies and at the same time provide education and inspiration to rising Latina leaders. Shortly after, she launched the Unstoppable Latina, a community of perfectly imperfect Latina CEOs making an impact and reimagining leadership. Now she is seen as an established thought leader in the Latin@ community and provides monthly coaching and strategy calls, virtual events with powerhouse jefas, and professional development all in one place.

Because of her work as a Latina leadership coach, Paulette has had the opportunity to speak at corporate events with TD Bank, been featured in Hispanic Executive Magazine, Ladies Get Paid and BeLatina News.

Here’s how we got her there:

 

Focused on creating impact. We worked backwards until we could come up with a way for her to be able to sustain her lifestyle and do the work she was passionate about - all while serving the people she wanted to serve. Once we had all this information, we just had to alter the way she was providing service. Creating a community through a platform like Mighty Networks allowed her to do that. 

Got specific about buyer personas and their needs. Once we had a business model, we had to do some refining of who exactly could benefit what we had discussed. Through extensive market research and testing the flow of what she created, Paulette was able to see that her current clients were already benefiting from the ideas behind this new model and providing great feedback on what else they were looking for.

Created a marketing plan around connections. Since she already had a network that would benefit from this new model, all we had to do was remind them of the value she provided and how this new model would make it easier for them to learn from her. She reached out to old connections to reestablish trust and they were able to connect her to new partnerships.
